Necessity of Responsible Parenthood

Responsible parenthood can be defined as the act of being responsible parents (father and mother), performing duty towards maintaining the quality of life of children which includes nutrition, health care, education, rearing and caring of children. Parents are responsible for looking after various sectors of children, child rights, protection and development. Parents are counseled as they are given knowledge and information about the ways of rearing children and be responsible parents.
Becoming a responsible parenthood is not an easy task. They play a vital role in caring and rearing since birth to independent ages. Responsible parents can maintain the equity, equality, justice and protections among the family members. They can balance peace and harmony in the family. A newly married couple has a child as a heart. They need to be well prepared to face any challenges coming in the future. Educated parents are well prepared about the ways of keeping good relationships within the family members. They create proper environment for their children. Every parent has the desire to make their children good and adjustable in the societies and their guidance and supports in each and every steps of life is the most essential elements for their children to uplift. Children learn what their parents teach them. An irresponsible parenthood is created in the poor societies as they do not have any knowledge in rearing, guiding, protecting and supporting the children. They just give birth and do not have any responsibilities towards the children. Children do not learn good manners from their uneducated and ignorant parents. Irresponsible parents lead children towards their dark future as they cannot adjust in the societies, create violence in the school and community, psychologically stressed due to quarreling of parents, depressed and poor achievements in the schools. Responsible parents create a good citizen in the country which plays a vital role in the worldwide, nation, community and family. In the context of the world, children from the responsible parents help to protect biodiversity and balance the ecosystem in various ways in the world. In the context of the country, they advocate the social justice and exclude the patriarchal societies in the nation. In the context of the community, they can play a vital role in eradication of childhood marriages, pregnancies, dowry system and they actively get participated in social developmental works in the society. They work for the welfare of the society against social crimes like smuggling, murdering, drugs abuse, taking alcohols and works for the handicapped people in the community. Similarly, in the context of the family, they keep peace, security and harmony among the family members. They help to improve the quality of life of the family. They can adjust the position of the woman in the family and empower them for participating in various social activities in the community and be the important part of the society.
In fact, responsible parents play a vital role for the children to make them educated, adjustable in the societies and fulfilling other quality of life. Every child in the world needs educated and responsible parents who have proper knowledge about the child right, protection, safe motherhood and proper guidance as they learn good things from parents. Responsible parents not only contribute for the children and family but also in the whole world.
